FLASH DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAMMING SOLUTIONS
Flash manipulates vector and raster graphics to provide animation of text, drawings, and photos. It supports bi-directional streaming of audio and video, and it can capture user input through the mouse, keyboard, microphone, and camera. Flash contains an Object-oriented language called ActionScript.
Flash content may be displayed on various computer systems and devices, using Adobe Flash Player, which is available free of charge for common Web browsers, some mobile phones and a few other electronic devices (using Flash Lite).
There are limitations with Flash and therefore it is not appropriate for all websites. The main limitation is that search engines can not read the content of a Flash file and if your web-site is heavy with text to attract the search engines it will be very difficult for your site to be listed.
If search engine placement is the of highest priority for you but having Flash on your site seems exciting, we recommend that doing a banner on your home page or having part of the page embedded with the Flash file could solve both needs.
