Lynn Bishop is Certified as a Specialist in Social Security Disability Law by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization. She is a graduate of Rice University (B.A., 1972) and Duke Law School (J.D., 1975). She's a member of the Workers' Compensation and Disability Advocacy sections of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. Lynn was selected by the State of North Carolina to represent the State in a lawsuit against Social Security to force improvements in the way Social Security handles disability claims. She has been helping people with Social Security disability claims, long-term and short-term disability claims, and workers' compensation claims since 1975.
